Powerful Remedies for Pitru Paksha

Tomorrow, i.e. on 6th september 2017, Pitru paksha of 2017 is beginning.
Pitru Paksha is a time period of 16 days, dedicated to ur forefathers who are no more with us. Many of them may be in Narak while a few of them, due to their punya, will go to swarga.
For all those who may have gone to Narak, half of them may be freed and gone to vishnu loka due to proper shraadh offered to them. However, for those who are not offered shraadh properly, would still remain stuck in narak suffering from immense pain, thirst and hunger.

Tomorrow, it the very beneficial and very very pitru paksha starting. On this day, all those who haven't offered shraadh, pind daan, tripindi to their ancestors can do so on the respective ancestors' tithi. By doing so, they will gain moksha and remain trupt for decades.
Unfortunately, a lot of people today, forget their parents and their affection once they get successful or once they marry their beloved. They leave their parents alone, in suffering, to enjoy the life's prosperity which is only temporary.
The mother's and father's affection and care no more matters to these selected few, because they are blind due to infatuation over material and physical happiness. Such people are going to be among the first ones, to be killed by Lord Kalki.

Mother, Father, Fire, Soul and Guru - These 5 are called as the Panch Maha Agni. The sadhak must protect them even at the sake of their own life.

Normally, shraadh are of various types. They are  roughly of  5 types, Nitya, naimittik, Kaamya, Vruddhi and Paarvana.
Nitya means one that is done daily.
Naimittik means one that is ekkodadishta.
Kaamya is done for wish fulfillment.
Vruddhi Shraadh is nothing but naandi shraadh.
Paarvan is the shraadh that's done on Amavasya or pitru paksha or on a festive day.
in Nitya shraadh, Pitru Tarpan is usually done, every month on the tithi of our pitrus. In case you do not know the tithi of the deceased ancestor, one must do tarpan every amavasya.
It is done on Amavasya because on all other days, Lord Soma gives them Soma ras to drink. However, on the day for Amavasya, as Lord Chandra is not there, Lord Chandra is there to offer them Soma Rasa. By doing tarpan, the sadhak gives trupti to their pitrus.
By performing pitru tarpan, shraadh , pind daan, a person gets rid of all the sins that he may have done till that moment in this human birth.
Pitru Tarpan makes our fathers and forefathers go to vishnu Loka.
By performing pitru tarpan, shraadh, pind daan, etc. Pitrus bring Kul Vruddhi. There is an increase in the number of sons.
The lifespan, fame, money, wealth, foodgrains, happiness, joy and abundance of the entire clan increases every day.
By performing pitru tarpan,  the kul gets extremely powerful, valorous and dharmik sons.
on the other hand, if itrus are atrupt, there is a decrease in the number of male members of the family. Only daughters are born in the Kul. And even if a son is born, he is usually timid. weak and courageless.

After death of the of an ancestor, it is the responsibility of a son to do -
1)Time to time tarpan, pind daan and tripindi.
2) Feeding Brahmins and doing daan
3) Doing pind daan in Gaya.

By doing so, sadhak gets rid of Pitru Rina.

If the pitrus have got dev yoni or have gone to upper lokas, the pind daan and tarpan reaches them in the form of Amrut.
If the pitrus have got human yoni or are reborn as humans, they get pind daan, etc. in the form of wealth and prosperity.
If they have gone to lower lokas or have got animal yoni, they will get pind daan, etc. in the form of  food and water.

By not doing shraadh, the dead ancestors suffers very painful time in his/her yoni. As a result, he becomes compelled to suck blood of their descendants and the Kul is cursed by the deceased.
Such a family, which has been cursed by Pitrus usually have to spend their entire lives in poverty, sorrow, difficulties and diseases and after death, the too go to narak.

Such a family never conceives a son, the never remain healthy and always suffer from some or the other kind of diseases, the dharmik functions done in such a house are always full of hurdles.

Today, I am going to share remedies to pacify pitrus, get their blessings and to get rid of pitruRuna forever:
1. There are 2 parts in  the shaastra of pacifying pitrus - Pind daan and Brahman Bhojan.
In the event that a sadhak cannot find brahman, he must satisfy a cow.
If feeding Brahmans is not possible, one must take sankalp and offer food grains, mevaa, ghee, sugar, black sesame seeds, gangajal or salt to a brahman Dev.

2. Chant Pitru Gayatri Mantra 11 malas daily for the 16 days.
Direction - South.
Aasan - Kush or White velvet aasan.
Mala - Rudraksh
Time - Between 11 Am to 2 pm
Clothes - White only

3. For those who cannot do japa can also do daan. One thing to keep in mind is that no mantra sadhana, prayog, havan, tarpan, marjan, brahman bhojan, dan, tapa, yagya, yog,  puja, vrat, etc can ever be successful if you don't take a sankalp beforehand.
Hence, if you decide to do daan, you must take a sankalp beforehand and then do the daan. In Kali yuga, Daan is the greatest tapa.
Cow, Land, Sesame seeds, Gold, Ghee,Clothes, Foodgrains, Jaggery(Gud), Silver, Salt - These are the 10 great daans. Donating these gives as much effect as doing shraadh in Gaya.

4. Shraadh karma must only be done by the eldest son of the family. If the eldest son is not there, then Only in very difficult or uncontrollable situations must a a younger son do the shraadh.
If due to fortune, the pitra or deceased had multiple sons and all the sons live in different places, all of them must do shraadh in their respective cities/countries.

5. The son, grandson, great grandson, daughter's son, wife, brother, brother in law, Father, mother, daughter in law, sister, nephew, great great grandsons - In the absence of the former, the latter can perform the shraadh, orderwise. i.e. In the absence of son, the great grandson can do shraadh. In absence of great grandson, the daughter's son can do the shraadh and so on.

6. Durmaran dosh removal -
Death that has occured due to - burning in fire, drowning, abhicharik karma, being eaten by lions/tigers, being killed by a brahmindev, snakes, being killed due to death penalty, lightning strike, being killed by horned animals like bulls, ox,etc. are considered as durmaran.
The person who has died due to these reasons must first offered narayan bali and nag bali. Only then, will the pitru tarpan/shraadh karma done on his behalf turn fruitful.

Other than this, suicide also comes under durmaran. However, in case of suicide, ne must not do narayan nag bali right away. He must wait for 1 year and after 1 year, he can do narayan naag bali and start doing tarpan.

If someone has done this mistake then he must do prayashchitt by doing 1 chandrayan vrat. The chandrayan vrat is same as the kind of fasts jains do. I will share more information on it in the future.

7.  In case someone from the family sees snakes in dreams, then it means that the deceased has entered sarpa yoni. For this one must recite Vishnu/Shiv/Naag Sahasranaam 108 times within these 16 days.

8. Or, Recite Rudra Atharvashira/ Rudra Sukt/ Vishnu Sukt/ Naag Sukt/ Pitru Sukt/ Pitru Stotra 1000 times within 16 days. Or,

9. Or, Chant 510 malas of Pitru/Rudra/Naag Gayatri Mantra within 16 days.

10. Feed  cows/dogs/crows daily during the 16 days.

11. One must at least 11 brahmins within the 16 days and give yathashakti daan as well. The things to be donated have already been mentioned above.

12. On the tithi of your pitru or every day of the 16 days, perform the following totka -
Go in front of a people tree in afternoon time and do 108 pradakshina of the tree. One must continuously do kirtan of Shri Jay Rama Mantra or Narayan Asht akshar mantra while doing pradakshina. Women and shudras are not allowed to chant narayan 8 lettered mantra hence, they must chant Shri Rama Jay Rama mantra.
After each pradakshina, the sadhak must offer 1 mava based sweet in front of the tree. This way, you will need 108 mava sweets.

13. Offer gangajal mixed with sesame seeds to the peepal tree and wish for sadgati of your pitrus.

14. One special thing to keep in mind that during this 16 days, you must never turn down a beggar, any animal, a brahmin and a religious work offer even by mistake. Because our pitrus are present in them in praan vaayu and invisible form within them and if you turn them down, they will leave upset and will be left suffering and thirsty.

15. By reciting Rudra atharvashirsha just once, a person can give moksha to their 7 previous ancestors. Then what can be said if you chant 1000 times.
By chanting Rudra/Narayan gayatri mantras or Shri Rama Jay mantra, one will give freedom to 100 previous ancestors.

There are many other totkas and mantras but I am not sharing them as these itself are more than enough.

It is upto the sadhak on what remedy he wants to practise.
The procedure of chanting Shiv/Narayan stotras/mantras is same as mentioned in point 2. The only difference is that the direction must be East.  Rest all remains the same.
In case of pitrus and Naag mantras/stotras the procedure to be followed is same as point 2. No difference.

Normally it is said that a sadhak gets sutak during these 16 days and hence one must not begin a new sadhana/prayog. I do not know as to how true it is. But I believe that if you do sadhana for the sadgati of pitrus, then there won't be any problem.

However, a kamya sadhana, for the purpose of fulfilling a purusharth must never be started in these 16 days.
The sadhanas that have already been started must not be stopped. But one cannot do the nitya karma.
Hope that everyone, including even those, who never loved their parents when alive, at least now, do something for their pitru's sadgati.

Jay Shri Rama

    1. 1. I have already mentioned about that in point 5. The son is always the first priority

      2. The order in which a family member can do the deceased's shraddh can be understood from point 5

The Rudra Atharvashirsha is published by gita press. You can refer to that book.
Other than this, there are many books which have rudra Atharvashirsha in it.

    1. With relation to the above topic, the prediction may be true only if you are seeing snakes repeatedly.

Otherwise, seeing snake in hand means that someone is going to betray you

  7. Namaste sir, suppose if our ancestors are big devotees of Vishnu or his Avatar and lord Shiva ,then they are sure to attain salvation. In such case should we perform Shraadh for them,if so then what is the use of they have already attained Mukti. Please clear sir.

    1. Just because someone is a big devotee of a particular god doesn't mean they are bound to attain moksha; unless and until they had actually done some remedy to attain moksha.
You cannot be so sure that they have definitely attained moksha.

we do shraddh because we can't just assume that they have got moksha, unless and until your pitrus themselves come back and tell us that they successfully got moksha.
      No shraddh goes in vain.
When we do shraadh, it is done not only of the dead person but also of the people who have died before him. Doing so ensures that all of them get moksha.

    2. Sir,if one had attained sayujya then how can they come and tell us they have got moksha , because moksha itself means becoming one with paramatma no sir. Please clear sir.
As u had said before they are various types of moksha ,if one has gone to Shiva or Vishnu loka and being their respective Hana's then is that a moksha, if so when will such souls attain supreme moksha ie becoming one with parabrahma.
