Facts about Mantra sadhanas - 1

Many times we see that people complain that they didn't get success in mantra sadhana and then they blame god for mistakes they may have done.

Failure in sadhanas is experienced due to various reasons. Which i am explain ing here -

1. The most important reasons are diseases, fear, sins, laziness,sleepiness, impurity, lack of faith, lack of discipline, and lack of control over mind.

Out of these, the most important factors are diseases, fear and sins.

The person who has these things in life will never get success in sadhanas.

2. Other than this, according to Lord Shiva - the person whose hands are itching with greed, the person whose mouth is experiencing dukh due to eating someone else's food I.e. food of someone else's house and person whose heart is burning in intense fire from the separation from his/her beloved; all of these never get siddhi.

Meaning - the person who is constantly satisfying his greed for wealth  though unfair means, the person who lives his or her life by eating in someone else's house and the person who's constantly experiencing sadness or depression due to the loss or separation from beloved; all these never get siddhi.

3. The person who doesn't have physical and mental strength, the person who is timid and overly sensitive  do not get mantra siddhi.

4. The person who keeps on doubting his mantra and the manta's devta over some other mantra and devta never gets success.

5. The person who doesn't follow the procedure mentioned for a mantra sadhana also doesn't get siddhi.

6. The person who insults or kills his guru even by mere thoughts gets the sin of brahma hatya. All the gods run away by looking at such a person.

7. The person who keeps on finding faults in the acts,living or the puja paddhati of a brahmin is considered as pret. This is said by lord brahma himself.

Such a person cannot get mantra siddhi.

8. The person who insults ShriRama/Narayan/Krishna for the sake of Lord Shiva or vice-versa such a person never ever gets mantra siddhi.

Lord ShriRama himself says - 

।। हरि हर निंदा सुनइ जो काना।

 होइ पाप गोघात समाना॥

Meaning - the ears which hear insults of narayan/ShriRama/Krishna or of Shiv/Rudra, such people get the sin of gau hatya. This means that If someone is insults Lord Narayan or Lord Shiv in front of you and the insults enter your ears, you will get the sin of gau hatya.

Lord Rama also says -

सिव द्रोही मम भगत कहावा। सो नर सपनेहुँ मोहि न पावा ॥ संकर बिमुख भगति चह मोरी। सो नारकी मूढ़ मति थोरी ॥ संकर प्रिय मम द्रोही सिव द्रोही मम दास। ते नर करहि कलप भरि धोर नरक महुँ बास ॥ २ ॥ 

Meaning - The person who is shiv drohi and calls himself my bhakt(ShriRama's bhakt), that person does not reach me even in his dreams. The person who stays away from doing bhakti of Lord Shiva but desires the devotion of me(ShriRama) suffers from mental retardation, hysteria and becomes नारकी I.e. one who is desirous to live in narak.

The person who loves shankara but hostile towards me(ShriRama) or the person who loves me but is hostile towards Lord Shiva lives in narak for 1 kalpa.

1 kalpa means 72 chatur-yugas.

10. The person who engages in arguments with women even if they are wicked also do not get mantra siddhi.

If there is a woman who is behaving wicked and cruel, then you must leave everything in God's hands. God will definitely teach the woman a lesson if she's wrong but if you engage in fight with her, then you won't get mantra siddhi.

On the other hand, the person who is a veer(lion hearted), the person who is sinless and disease free, the person who has a mentality that either he gets mantra siddhi or will sacrifice his life; such people get mantra siddhi very soon.

Lord Shiva says - The kind of faith that you have in a jyotish, a brahmin, a god, a mantra, a medicine and a tirth, that kind of results, one will get.

This means, that if  I keep such a belief that neem leaves cause cancer then  it will definitely cause cancer to me.

Not many know, that what is achieved by changing gayatri mantra 1 lac times is achieved by chanting ॐ नमो नारायणाय just once.

Also, it is said that chanting राम just once is equal to chanting vishnu's name 1000 times. And chanting Krishna's name is equal to chanting vishnu's name 3000 times.

This means that chanting Rama naam just once is equal to chanting gayatri mantra 10 crore times. And chanting Krishna's name just one single time is equal to chanting gayatri mantra 30 crore times.

And by chanting gayatri mantra 10 crore times, one is said to get freedom from crores of sins done in crores of births and one finally gets moksha.

This means that chanting Shri Rama just once in life, a person will get freedom from crores of sins done is crores of births.

But people do not get that kind of results. This is because they are not aware of this fact.

Even more powerful is Lord Surya. The sins from which one gets freedom by chanting Raam naam is achieved by merely looking at surya.

There is no one as great of a sin destroyer as Surya. 

The amount of virtues or punya that is earned by doing 1000 shivratri jagaran, 1000 ekdashi, 10,000 sankranti fasts, 7 crore times surya darshan on sankranti, 1000 ashvamedh yagya, 100 vaajpeya yagya, 1 crore kanya daan and pinda daan at Gaya is achieved by doing surya darshan just once and chanting his mantra.

1 year has just 12 sankranti. 10,000 sankranti divided by 12 sankranti a year equals 721 years approx. I.e. it will take 721 years if one fasts for 10,000 sankrantis.
By doing just 100 ashvamedh yagya one gets the position of indra but doing surya darshan is said to give benefits of 1000 ashvamedh yagya.

This means that if I do surya darshan 10 times a day, I'll get whatever is mentioned above 10x.

The only reason why people don't get these benefits is because they are unaware of these facts and those who know these facts don't have that much faith in these facts because they may think that it is impossible to get so much punya by such a simple thing.

However, just because I have now shared all these facts doesn't mean you will get all the before mentioned benefits right from tomorrow.

Because there is still not that much of faith built on the god.

Gyaan is root of all happiness and Lust is the root of all suffering.

When there is gyaan -

1. you will know how to attract people 

2. you will know how to win wars.

3. You will know how to gain immense wealth.

4. How to stay disease free.

5. How to get you want

6. You will get freedom from sins, Lust, anger, jealousy, laziness and all such bad habits and absolutely anything.

7. You will get moksha on earth itself.

However, Lust and desires are root of all suffering.

As long as your mind is filled with wishes to fulfill, the tree of your sins will keep on deepening its roots.

The panch vikar are - Lust, anger, attachment, infatuation and ego.
How Lust  becomes the root of all other vikar is explained by me here - 

Lust, the first of the panchvikaar makes us desirous and makes us look for ways to fulfill the wish and causes lobh(attachment). In order to fulfill the wish, we may do even the low grade acts for the fulfillment of the wish. When this wish doesn't get fulfilled, it brings in the 3rd of the panchvikaar I.e. anger.

The birth of anger brings the destruction of wits and knowledge. The destruction of knowledge in turn brings in moha (infatuation) for the unfulfilled wish.

And when knowledge and wit of a man is destroyed, then, his destruction is imminent.

Ravan became lustuous towards Sitaa Maa and made him look for ways to get her which caused attachment. In order to fulfill his wish, he didn't shy away from kidnapping her. Once he kidnapped sita and tried to make advances towards mother, she stopped him from doing so.

Because, ravan's wish of getting sita maa wasn't getting fulfilled, he became angry and threatened her for her life.

Due to this anger, he lost the immense knowledge and wits through which he had become king of the 3 lokas and this in turn brought moha(infatuation) to get Sita Maa.

And when infatuation came and knowledge ran away, ravan's destruction came without any second chances.

It is only using knowledge and wits that one can face even the most difficult problems with calm and ease.
