Pitru Dosh is one such which are now coming up in more and more people's lives. This is mainly because either the pujari doesn't perform the last rites completely and uses shortcuts, or, the family of the deceased does not perform all the rites and tries to complete everything in short.
In dev bhakti, we cannot use shortcuts. However, in small pujaa, we can use shortcuts sometimes.
But in pitru puja and doing shraddh, etc. such a thing is not allowed because if you cut short anything, it will affect the pitrus only.
When you are thirsty, only water can pacify your thirst, not petrol. Similarly, when we want to provide moksha to our ancestors via shraddh, we need to use whatever is needed, you cannot substitute one thing for another.
Somethings might have a substitute. For example, after completing narayan bali and nag bali, one has to do daan of various things. Among these, most important is gau daan.
One cow costs 15000-20000 INR. But many cannot afford it. Hence, instead of a real cow, one can donate a silver cow.
But everything doesn't have a substitute.
Today, I am sharing a few totka, performing which, a perform can get rid of pitru dosha and gain lost of sukh and shanti in life.
Though I don't believe much in totka and lal kitab remedies, but there are some satvik totkas, using which one can gain benefits.
This is because many of the totkas suggested in lal kitab are nonsensical and wasteful.
For example, for Pisces Rashi, if brihaspati is in 4th house, then lal kitab suggests one not to keep a temple in the house.
Some lal kitab remedy suggests that people who have their Saturn placed in 6th or 7th house must not visit temples.
People who have moon in 12th house in kundli must not feed brahmins.
All these kind utter nonsensical upaay are suggested by lal kitab and people actually support these remedies. Brahmin deva are living gods. Not feeding them is like not feeding gods.
However, there are some remedies which can bring must relief for the sadhaks and they are being shared by me today.
1. In order to pacify pitrus, one must chant ॐ नमो भगवते वासुदेवाय 12 mala daily for 121 days using tulsi mala.
2. One must do 108 pradakshina of a peepal tree and chant ॐ नमो भगवते वासुदेवाय while doing pradakshina.
3. One must feed black sesame and rice balls to crows every Saturday.
4. One must light a mustard oil diya daily in afternoon in the north west corner of the house. The diya must be made of copper or silver. This remedy must be performed for 108 days.
5. Add black sesame to half litre gangajal and offer it to peepal tree on a Monday or Saturday.
These were a few remedies which can be performed to get relief from pitru dosh and to pacify the pitrus.
Any one must be performed at one time. Don't perform all of them together.

Dear Ashok Sir,
ReplyDeleteImportant question. Is it true that a person who has Surya Grahan and Angarak Dosh in his chart, does it mean he cannot have non-veg even after doing the pujas for the same?
pls guide.
Every person in non-veg in some or the other way. Inn Hinduism, eating meat is allowed. Gods also eat meat. Among them, the meat of humans, Buffalo, horse and sea salt are called maha maas(great meat). Every person in this world normally eats salty foods which means every person is a mansahari. But eating non-veg is forbidden in kali yuga. Because, in hinduism, meat can only be eaten of animals who have died on their own. In this century, people purposely kill animals for eating which is a sin.
DeleteIf the meat that you're eating is of an animal who has died on his own, then, eating that meat won't be a problem.
